Customer Technical Support Agent

Multidev Technologies is the developer of ChainDrive™, a leading, Fully-Integrated Retail Management System that caters to various verticals of the retail industry including apparel and footwear is currently seeking a dynamic individual with experience in customer technical support. We are in search of a candidate who is looking for a new challenge. If you are an autonomous, team player and have the demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage problems by phone and/or using remote methods then this position is for you.

Responsibilities

The customer technical support agent will have to perform the following duties:

• Investigate and handle calls regarding our program (installation, configuration, modifications, general questions) either by phone and/or using remote connection
• Guide the user in a professional and courteous manner while finding solutions to the problem at hand
• Follow up and validate the status of customer inquiries
• Record all steps and actions taken using our in-house tracking system
• Duties may be subject to modifications based on company or customer’s needs

Requirements

• CEGEP Degree in computer science or equivalent
• 2 years of pertinent experience
• English (spoken and written), French (spoken and written)
• Strong knowledge in writting SQL queries
• Knowledge of retail software and/or retail process an asset
• Available to work occasionally on flexible hours
