Position: Technical Analyst

Description:

Multidev Technologies (www.chaindrive.com) is the developer of ChainDrive™, a leading, Fully-Integrated Retail Management System that caters to various verticals of the retail industry including apparel and footwear is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Analyst. We are in search of a candidate who is looking for a new challenge. If you are an autonomous, team player and have the demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently manage problems by phone and/or using remote methods then this position is for you.

Responsibilities:

The Technical Analyst will have to perform the following duties:

• Provide technical support (installation, configuration, modifications, general questions) either by phone and/or using remote connection.
• Guide the user in a professional and courteous manner while finding solutions to the problem at hand.
• Consult with clients on best practices, including process improvement and documentation.
• Act as lead technical resource on new client implementations.
• Manage, document and perform client software upgrades/installations

Requirements:

• University degree in computer science or engineering
• 2 years of pertinent experience
• English (spoken and written), French (spoken and written)
• Strong knowledge in writing SQL queries
• Knowledge of retail software and/or retail process an asset
• Available to work occasionally on flexible hours and on call.
• Understanding of software design and development.
• Previous experience supporting and training end users.
